Discussion of a Master’s Thesis in the Department of Economics on “Measuring and Analyzing the Impact of Monetary and Fiscal Policies on Addressing the Fiscal Deficits of Selected Countries.”
The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul discussed on Monday, April 28, 2025 a master’s thesis entitled “Measuring and Analyzing the Impact of Monetary and Fiscal Policies on Addressing the Fiscal Deficits of Selected Countries,” submitted by student Nour Abdul Sattar Hamid Al-Hamdani.
The study aimed to measure and analyze the impact of monetary and fiscal policies on addressing the fiscal deficit, in addition to evaluating the relevant economic variables in a group of selected countries.
The study reached several conclusions, the most prominent of which was that monetary policy is one of the most important economic tools for achieving overall objectives, emphasizing the need for its integration with other economic policies to achieve effective results.
