An Academic Field Visit Contributes to Linking Theory with Practice for Accounting Department Students”
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Assistant Professor Dr. Kubra Muhammad Tahir and Lecturer Dr. Hassan Saleh Youssef organized a field visit to the Accounting and Auditing Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul. The students were accompanied by a group of second-year accounting students on April 29, 2025.
The visit aimed to enhance the students’ practical skills by introducing them to the work mechanisms of key financial units, including the Disbursement Unit, the Payroll Unit, and the Fund Unit.
The delegation was received by Ms. Madiha, Director of Accounts, who welcomed the students and, along with the department’s staff, provided a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the nature of each unit’s work. This provided the students with a valuable practical opportunity to study financial concepts in a real-world work environment.
