The College of Administration and Economics Shines at the University of Mosul’s Celebration Honoring Colleges for Student Activities

The College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul participated in the celebration organized by the University Presidency’s Student Activities Department to honor the colleges that excelled in student activities for the academic year 2024–2025. The event was held on the morning of Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall, in the presence of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, University President, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, along with several college deans and officials from sports and student activity units.

Representing the college at the event were Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College, and the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Awards and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the top three winning colleges across various student activities—sports, arts, scouting, and volunteering.

The College of Administration and Economics achieved outstanding results, including: – First place in Volunteer Work.
– Second place in the Badminton Championship.
– Third place in both the Volleyball Championship and the Female Students’ Chess Tournament.

These achievements are the result of continuous efforts by the Student Activities Division at the college, led by Dr. Omar Farouq Younis, Head of the Student Activities Division, in collaboration with Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Jasim Mohammed, Head of the Sports Unit, both of whom played an active role in preparing and guiding the participating teams.

The college reaffirms its ongoing support for its students across all university activities, believing in the importance of developing skills and promoting a spirit of competition and excellence.
