University of Mosul President Conducts Field Visit to Oversee Rehabilitation of the College of Administration and Economics Buildings, Directs Acceleration of Works to Ensure a Modern Learning Environment

On Wednesday morning, August 27, 2025, the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul welcomed the President of the University, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, accompanied by the University’s Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, and the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed. They were received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, along with the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid.
The purpose of the visit was to directly follow up on reconstruction and rehabilitation works underway in several college facilities, including restrooms, air-conditioning systems, painting, glass replacement, and electrical maintenance in classrooms and faculty offices. During his inspection tour, the University President stressed the importance of completing these works within one month, ensuring a suitable academic environment for both students and faculty members at the start of the new academic year.
The President also met with the College’s Reconstruction and Projects Unit, discussing key on-site challenges and instructing them to overcome obstacles, expedite progress, and adhere to high technical and organizational standards to enhance the pace and quality of completion.
In addition, he reviewed the college’s administrative, organizational, and legal procedures, commending the significant efforts of the College leadership, represented by the Dean, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, his associates, and all faculty and staff members.
Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi emphasized that the University of Mosul is firmly advancing toward improving its infrastructure and developing its campus environment. He pointed out that rehabilitating academic buildings is an essential step in the University’s strategy to enhance the quality of education and strengthen its academic standing.
