The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis titled:
“The Impact of Total Environmental Quality Management on Improving Pollution Prevention Practices: An Exploratory Study in the New Hammam Al-Alil Cement Plant.”
The present study, submitted by the student Hassan Zuhair Tawfiq in the Department of Industrial Management, aimed to provide a theoretical framework that clarifies researchers’ contributions on the study variables (total environmental quality management and pollution prevention practices), as well as to identify the dimensions of these variables and the extent to which they are applied in the researched field.
The study concluded with several findings, the most important of which is that there are theoretical correlations linking the objectives derived from total environmental quality management and pollution prevention practices. The study demonstrated the possibility of achieving integration between quality management concepts and systems and environmental sustainability practices, including pollution prevention practices.
