A Scientific Discussion in the Department of Industrial Management on Smart Quality Management Applications and Supply Chain Risks 

The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, held a master’s thesis defense in the discussion hall of the Department of Finance and Banking for the student Zainab Qusay Ahmed, titled:

“Applications of Smart Quality Management and Their Impact on Reducing Supply Chain Risks: A Case Study in the Oil Products Distribution Company / Nineveh Branch.”

The study aimed to diagnose and analyze the correlations and levels of influence between smart quality management applications (as the independent variable) and supply chain risks (as the dependent variable), in addition to discussing the practical implications at the company level.

The study concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between smart quality management applications and supply chain risks, which highlights their importance in enhancing the efficiency of supply chains and reducing the risks associated with them.
