Economic Research Between the Local and the Global… A Scientific Workshop at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Explores its Methods and Models
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, Prof. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Scientific Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Economics, organized on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in Hall No. (1), the scientific workshop entitled:
“Economic Research Between the Local and the Global: A Methodological Evaluation of Approaches and Models in Locally and Globally Published Studies.”
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Mufeed Younis Thannon, who reviewed the most prominent methodological trends in economic research, analyzing strengths and weaknesses in applied models at both the local and international levels.
The event witnessed distinguished attendance from a number of faculty members and postgraduate students, who enriched the session with their contributions and questions, creating an academic atmosphere that strengthens research rigor and deepens the connection between economic studies and their local and global contexts.
