College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul Embodies Loyalty by Honoring a Group of its Retired Professors and Staff
On the morning of Thursday, September 25, 2025, the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul held a grand ceremony to honor its retired professors and staff members for the years 2020–2025. The event took place in Discussion Hall No. (2) near the Department of Accounting, with a remarkable attendance that reflected values of loyalty and gratitude for their rich journey of service and dedication.
The ceremony began with opening remarks delivered by the college’s spokesperson, Assistant Professor Dr. Ashti Abdul Sattar Al-Mazouri, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, who expressed the college’s pride in the careers of the honorees and their academic and administrative contributions that supported the college and the university.
Afterward, the retirees were honored with the Shield of Loyalty and letters of appreciation, presented by the Dean, in the presence of the College Council members and a number of faculty and staff. The atmosphere was filled with feelings of joy and pride.
For their part, the honorees expressed their gratitude to the College Administration for this generous gesture, affirming that such recognition will remain a lasting mark of loyalty in academic memory.
