The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Organizes a Lecture on the Role of Accounting in Employment Management
Under the direction of Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit organized a lecture entitled:
“Accounting and Its Role in Employment Management”, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Thaneen Ismail Thanoon, who discussed the integrative relationship between accounting and human resource management, as well as the role of accounting information in supporting employment decisions, identifying competencies, and efficiently allocating human resources.
The lecture aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of accounting in administrative work environments and to highlight its contribution to developing employment systems based on sound financial and accounting analysis.
This lecture comes as part of the activities of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, which seeks to prepare students for the labor market and develop their skills in modern management fields.
