The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Ranks First Among Its Counterparts in Iraq by Achieving the “Excellent” Rating
Within the framework of the strategic vision and under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and through the dedicated efforts of Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, the college has achieved a new qualitative accomplishment that adds to the University of Mosul’s distinguished record of academic excellence. The college received an “Excellent” rating in the comprehensive ministerial evaluation of the academic and scientific reality for the academic year 2024–2025, conducted by the specialized committees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This prestigious achievement came following the on-site visit carried out by the ministerial committees three weeks ago, during which they reviewed the academic, administrative, and research performance indicators, as well as the quality and institutional accreditation standards adopted by the college as part of its comprehensive development plans.
This recognition represents the culmination of the great efforts exerted by the Presidency of the University of Mosul to enhance the level of university performance by supporting and encouraging colleges to excel in education, scientific research, and community service, in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education’s vision of promoting quality and academic excellence.
The Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority also commended this outstanding achievement by issuing an official Letter of Appreciation to the Dean of the College, in recognition of his pioneering role in strengthening the college’s academic standing.
On this occasion, the College of Administration and Economics, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, for his continuous support and wise guidance, which had a significant impact on the college’s achievement of the “Excellent” rating in the academic and scientific evaluation.
The college also extends sincere thanks and appreciation to all its faculty members, staff, and students for their remarkable efforts and dedication in advancing the college’s progress toward excellence and leadership.
