Activating Researchers’ Accounts on Scopus and Web of Science… A Scientific Workshop at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 a scientific workshop on activating researchers’ accounts on the Scopus and Web of Science platforms, with the attendance of faculty members and postgraduate students.
The workshop came as part of the college’s efforts to enhance researchers’ capabilities and facilitate scientific publication in internationally indexed and peer-reviewed journals. The session was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and was presented by Dr. Samir Riyadh Mamdouh, Director of the Francophone Corner Unit in the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency.
During the workshop, Dr. Mamdouh reviewed the steps for activating researcher accounts, emphasizing their importance in tracking research performance and obtaining scientific indicators.
The workshop concluded with positive engagement from the participants, who expressed their great benefit from the information presented, affirming that such initiatives contribute to raising the level of scientific research at both the college and university levels.
