The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Respiratory Diseases and the Risks of Smoking and Drugs
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuheir Mohammed Jameel, the College’s Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the University Health Center, organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“Respiratory Diseases, and the Impact of Smoking, Drugs, and Addiction,” on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in Hall No. (1).
The workshop was presented by:

Senior Assistant Medical Officer Mohamed Taha
The workshop witnessed the attendance of a number of faculty members, staff, and students, who actively engaged with the scientific topics that addressed the risks of respiratory diseases, the effects of smoking and drugs on the health of the individual and society, as well as methods of prevention and health awareness within the university environment.
This workshop was organized through the efforts of the College’s Health and Safety Liaison Officer, Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Jassim Al-Khafaji, as part of a program aimed at enhancing health cooperation between educational institutions and relevant authorities, and promoting a culture of safety and health awareness on campus.
