Discussion of a Higher Diploma Thesis in the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul on Measuring the Quality of Agricultural Support Services

The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul discussed on Monday, December 1, 2025, in Discussion Hall No. (2) the Higher Diploma thesis titled: “Measuring the Quality of Agricultural Support Services Using the SERVQUAL Service Quality Model.”
The study, submitted by the student Fares Haidar Ahmed Al-Husseini, aims to measure the level of quality of agricultural support services as perceived by beneficiaries, through the adoption of the SERVQUAL model with its five dimensions. It also seeks to identify the gaps between farmers’ expectations and their actual perceptions of the services provided, in a way that contributes to diagnosing strengths and weaknesses within the entities responsible for offering agricultural support.
The study concluded that there are clear negative gaps between the actual performance of agricultural logistic services provided by the General Company for Agricultural Supplies and the farmers’ expectations across all SERVQUAL dimensions, indicating an administrative shortfall in meeting the needs of service recipients and enhancing their satisfaction.
The discussion committee consisted of: Asst. Prof. Dr. Adel Mohammed Abdullah – Chair, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohammed – Member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zahraa Ghazi Thanoon – Member and Asst. Prof. Riyadh Jameel Wahab – Member and Supervisor.
