The Career Development and Employment Unit Enhances Students’ Innovation Skills through the “From Idea to Market” Workshop in Collaboration with the Department of Management Information Systems

The Career Development, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, organized a distinguished training workshop titled: “From Idea to Market: Innovating a New Product”.
The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Abdullah Hashim Al-Ballah and Assistant Lecturer Maher Nour Al-Din.
The workshop focused on empowering students with skills in generating creative ideas and developing products, while training them on the practical steps that enable them to move from an initial idea to a marketable product, using modern methodologies in innovation and entrepreneurship.
During the workshop, students were divided into working groups to develop teamwork skills, enhance collaborative thinking, and distribute roles within specialized teams focused on innovating and designing new products. This allowed them to experience a practical simulation of real work and production environments.
The workshop witnessed strong student engagement, as participants presented innovative ideas that reflected a high level of creativity, teamwork capability, and readiness to engage in future innovative projects.
