The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Witnesses the Discussion of a Higher Diploma Thesis on Blockchain Technologies and Administrative Transparency

The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul witnessed, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, the discussion of a Higher Diploma thesis entitled: “The Impact of Adopting Blockchain Technologies on Enhancing Administrative Transparency: An Exploratory Study at the University of Mosul.”
The discussion took place in Discussion Hall No. (1).
The thesis, presented by the student Mustafa Khalid Saadallah, examined the role of blockchain technology in enhancing administrative transparency by clarifying the mechanisms for employing this modern technology in developing administrative systems, supporting the principles of transparency, and improving institutional performance efficiency.
The study concluded with several important findings, (most notably) the necessity of adopting comprehensive digitalization at the University of Mosul, including the integration of blockchain technology into its administrative system, due to its effective impact on supporting administrative transparency and enhancing institutional performance efficiency.
