Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses a Higher Diploma Research on Adopting Digital Twin Technology in the Healthcare Sector
The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday, 18 January 2026, a Higher Diploma research entitled:
“Factors Influencing the Adoption of Digital Twin Technology in the Healthcare Sector: A Survey Study in a Number of Hospitals in Nineveh Governorate,”
held in Discussion Hall No. (1).
The research, presented by the student Mohammed Hadi Saeed, examined the factors affecting the intention to adopt Digital Twin technology in the healthcare sector in Nineveh Governorate, through a field study conducted in a number of hospitals.
The study reached several conclusions, most notably the existence of a positive and statistically significant effect of all the studied factors on the intention to adopt Digital Twin technology, reflecting the promising potential of this technology in supporting the development of healthcare services and improving their operational efficiency.
