The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Organizes a Keyboard Typing Speed Competition and Honors the Top Winners

In a competitive atmosphere reflecting the College of Administration and Economics’ commitment to developing students’ technical skills and enhancing their digital capabilities, the Cultural Activities Unit / Student Activities Division organized a keyboard typing speed competition (male and female students) on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, with the participation of a number of faculty members and undergraduate and postgraduate students.
This activity comes within the framework of supporting extracurricular programs that contribute to refining practical skills, particularly those related to modern technologies, speed of performance, and accuracy.
The results of the competition were as follows:
First place: Omar Ahmed Saleh / PhD / Department of Accounting
Second place: Mohammed Satea Muzaffar / Master’s / Department of Marketing Management
Third place: Yousif Abdullah Nafea / Department of Accounting / Third year
At the conclusion of the competition, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, distributed the awards to the winners, praising the spirit of positive competition and the high level demonstrated by the participants. He reaffirmed the College’s support for activities that strengthen digital skills and align with labor market requirements.
It is worth noting that the idea of the competition, the design of its electronic program, and its co-management were carried out by the student Ibrahim Wissam Abdulwahab from the Department of Accounting, in a student initiative that reflects creativity and excellence within the College.
