The Department of Business Administration – College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Discusses a Higher Diploma Thesis on the Impact of Ethical Leadership on Organizational Citizenship Behavior On Tuesday, March 3, 2026

The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, held the defense of a Higher Diploma thesis in Discussion Hall No. (1), entitled:
“The Impact of Ethical Leadership on Enhancing Organizational Citizenship Behavior among Employees – An Exploratory Study at the Nineveh Youth and Sports Directorate.”
The thesis was submitted by Ms. Janan Younis Nawaf Hadid.
The study aimed to examine the impact of ethical leadership—through its dimensions of justice, integrity, ethical guidance, and role clarification—on strengthening the concept of organizational citizenship behavior within the Nineveh Youth and Sports Directorate. The research problem focused on identifying the nature and extent of the influence of ethical leadership in promoting organizational citizenship behavior among the Directorate’s employees.
The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between ethical leadership and organizational citizenship behavior at the Nineveh Youth and Sports Directorate. The study recommended adopting ethical leadership as an official managerial approach within the Directorate by integrating its principles into administrative policies and regulations, as well as organizing periodic training programs for administrative leaders to enhance awareness of ethical leadership behaviors.
