Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Management Information Systems, Assistant Professor Dr. Ramadan Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the department organized a scientific workshop entitled “Ethics of Using Artificial Intelligence Tools.”
The workshop was held on Thursday, 12 March 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in Laboratory No. (1) of the department.
The workshop was prepared and delivered by Lecturer Ali Samir Ali, who addressed several key topics, including introducing the most important ethical guidelines related to the use of artificial intelligence tools and highlighting the importance of employing these technologies responsibly in educational and research contexts. The session also emphasized the need to adhere to the values of academic integrity and the protection of privacy and intellectual property within digital learning environments.
The workshop was attended by a number of students from the department, who actively engaged with the topics through questions and discussions that contributed to raising awareness about the ethical use of modern technologies and their role in supporting the educational process and developing students’ digital skills.
