The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, chaired on Monday, 1 June 2026, an extensive meeting attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqader, the heads of the college’s seven academic departments, as well as the Head and staff of the Media and Government Communication Division and the Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for completing the update of the college’s official website and the websites of its academic departments in both Arabic and English, as part of the college’s strategic direction toward strengthening its digital presence and enhancing the quality of services and information provided to students, researchers, and those interested in academic affairs.

The Dean emphasized the importance of completing the electronic content of the academic departments in a comprehensive and accurate manner, including academic program descriptions, course specifications, Bologna Process requirements and implementation pathways, as well as guides, forms, and academic and administrative documents that enable website visitors to access information easily and clearly.

He also noted that the development efforts represent a continuation of the work undertaken by the Media and Government Communication Division in updating and improving the dedicated sections of the academic departments’ websites. Particular emphasis has been placed on presenting content through a modern and visually appealing design, documenting the activities and achievements of previous and current academic years, and preparing content related to the upcoming academic year.

The meeting further stressed the importance of continuous coordination between the academic departments and the Media and Quality Assurance Divisions to ensure the accuracy and regular updating of information. The heads of the academic departments expressed their full cooperation in meeting the update requirements, contributing to strengthening the college’s academic and digital standing and highlighting its achievements at both the local and international levels.
