As part of its programs aimed at developing institutional performance and elevating the quality of university education, the Continuous Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized on Monday, June 15, 2026, a free training course titled “Quality Management and Continuous Improvement in Higher Education Institutions,” with the participation of staff from the Quality Assurance and Continuous Education units, alongside faculty members from the departments of Industrial Management and Business Administration.
The course was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Amal Sarhan Suleiman and Assistant Lecturer Maawa Rabee Ahmed from the Department of Industrial Management. Its core topics addressed the requirements and standards of quality and academic accreditation, institutional and academic performance measurement indicators, mechanisms for utilizing continuous improvement tools, and the application of the PDCA cycle within the university environment, as well as preparing development plans that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of institutional performance.
This course comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to consolidating the concepts of quality and academic accreditation, and developing the professional capabilities of the teaching and administrative staff, in line with the requirements of continuous development and raising the level of performance in higher education institutions.
