The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discusses a Master’s thesis on the impact of mindful leadership in reducing workplace ingratiation

The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul discussed  on Monday, August 31, 2026,  in Discussion Hall No. (2) the Master’s thesis titled “The Impact of Mindful Leadership on Workplace Ingratiation: An Analytical Study of the Views of a Sample of Employees at the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh”, submitted by the student Yaseen Ibrahim Khalil Mahmoud Al-Omari.

​The study aimed to examine the reality of mindful leadership and workplace ingratiation in the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh by describing and diagnosing the data collected through a questionnaire, as well as identifying how mindful leadership can contribute to influencing and reducing levels of workplace ingratiation.

​The results of the study revealed that the variables and dimensions of the study were rated at a good level according to the respondents’ opinions. It also revealed a statistically significant inverse relationship between mindful leadership and workplace ingratiation, which underscores the importance of adopting mindful leadership practices to build a more professional work environment and enhance positive organizational behavior.
