Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, and as part of implementing the pillars of the Third National Plan to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls (2026–2030)—specifically the protection and prevention pillar—the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Administration and Economics, represented by its liaison officer, Assistant Lecturer Yasmeen Bashar Qasim, organized an awareness campaign on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, titled:
”Small Projects… An Investment in the Future”
The activity featured the display of educational posters throughout the college corridors. It aimed to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, raise awareness about the vital role of small businesses as a cornerstone for achieving financial independence, promote community empowerment, and open new avenues for innovation and productivity. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening social awareness and advancing women’s participation in development.
