The Dean of the College of Archaeology/ University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasmine Abdel Karim Muhammad Ali, participated in a workshop entitled (The Low Acceptance of Students in Colleges and Departments of Archeology in Iraqi Universities), which was held by the National Security Advisory/ Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies/ Department of Historical Studies.

On Thursday, September 28, 2023, the workshop included four topics, as the Dean of the College of Archaeology participated in the first topic, which included the low acceptance of students in colleges and departments of archeology in Iraqi universities, and she presented proposals and solutions for accepting students at colleges of archaeology throughout Iraq

The workshop included a forum of various ministries, including the Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, as well as other ministries.
