On Sunday, February 8, 2026, the University of Mosul launched Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the participation of several university colleges, including the College of Archaeology. This initiative is part of a comprehensive program aimed at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within the university community.
On Monday, February 9, 2026, College of Archaeology presented a success story by student Tuqa Baraa Hamed, a second-year student in Department of Ancient Iraqi Languages. Her story focused on her experience writing her first literary work, a novel titled “The Coincidence of Armafedinel,” which was adopted by the University of Mosul’s Technology Incubator. The novel reflects intellectual awareness, beautiful language, a mature spirit, and great ambition. This success story was presented as part of Entrepreneurship Week, a series of scientific and awareness-raising activities that contribute to developing entrepreneurial thinking and encouraging creativity and excellence among students, in line with the goals of the project adopted by the university administration.
