College of Archaeology Participates in Capacity Building Program in Baghdad

Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, and Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Jaber Khalil, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, participated in the training program entitled “Capacity Building Program in Quality Assurance, the Bologna Process, and External Competence.” The program, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the World Bank, was held in Baghdad from February 8-12, 2026, and featured a select group of international experts specializing in quality assurance.
The program aimed to develop the capacities of academic leaders in quality assurance, enhance the application of Bologna Process standards, and solidify the concept of external competence by aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs, thereby contributing to academic accreditation and continuous improvement.
