The College of Archaeology Participates in the “Shareek” Exhibition

Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inaugurated the “Sharik: Made in Iraq” exhibition in support of local projects and traditional crafts. He emphasized the importance of promoting national production and serving the community. He was accompanied by Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
The College of Archaeology participated in the “Sharik” exhibition, with the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdulkarim Mohammed Ali, and the Vice Deans for Scientific, Administrative, and Financial Affairs in attendance. The College presented examples of its scientific and applied products, including cylinder seals, cuneiform tablets, archaeological murals, and some heritage pieces. These reflect the College’s role in supporting academic knowledge and meeting the needs of the local market. The Dean emphasized the College’s keenness to engage with the community, and this participation is part of its active contributions to supporting national projects, which contribute to achieving sustainable development and establishing a culture of local production.
