A doctoral dissertation entitled “The Sounds of the Akkadian Language: A Comparative Study with Semitic Languages,” by student Uday Abdulwahab Abdullah, was defended at the College of Archaeology/Department of Ancient Iraqi Languages ​​on Monday, January 19, 2026. The dissertation was supervised by Professor Dr. Amin Abdulnafi Amin (first supervisor) and Professor Dr. Imad Abdul Yahya (second supervisor).

This dissertation contributes to Sustainable Development Goals 3, 4, 6, and 8.
