Master’s Thesis at the College of Basic Education on “Syntactic and Rhetorical Constructions in the Poetry of Gibran Khalil Gibran”

 

A Master’s thesis entitled “Syntactic and Rhetorical Constructions in the Poetry of Gibran Khalil Gibran” was defended at the Department of Arabic Language, College of Basic Education, University of Mosul. The thesis was submitted by Rahma Salem Ahmed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Al-Hadbaa Hall at the College of Basic Education.

The thesis examined and analyzed the concept of style and the writer’s biography as a prelude to classifying and analyzing the stylistic constructions identified in the selected corpus. These included directive and non-directive constructions, in addition to the various rhetorical purposes and meanings reflected in the literary works of Gibran Khalil Gibran.
