A Master’s thesis entitled “The Five Minds and Their Relationship to University of Mosul Students’ Attitudes toward the Use of Artificial Intelligence” was defended at the College of Basic Education, University of Mosul, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Al-Hadbaa Hall at the college.

The thesis, submitted by Wijdan Anas Khalil Ahmed Al-Bajari from the Department of Kindergarten, Educational Psychology specialization, aimed to identify the level of the Five Minds among University of Mosul students and examine the significance of differences according to the variables of gender (male–female), specialization (scientific–humanities), and academic year (second–fourth).

The study reached several findings, most notably that University of Mosul students demonstrated a high level of the Five Minds and held positive attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence. The study also found statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the Five Minds among the research sample according to some study variables, while no significant differences were found according to other variables. Furthermore, the results revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the Five Minds and University of Mosul students’ attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence.
