The University of Mosul – College of Basic Education, Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Education, held an awareness seminar entitled (Proper Interaction with the Holy Quran) in the halls of the Department of Islamic Education on Monday, October 12, 2026.

The seminar was presented by (Asst. Lect. Khنساء Muwaffaq Ismail), who shed light on the importance of building a conscious relationship with the Holy Quran based on veneration, contemplation, and compliance.

The seminar also addressed the impact of the Quran in refining behavior, correcting morals, and enhancing spiritual and human values. It emphasized the necessity of moving beyond verbal recitation to understanding meanings and drawing upon Quranic guidance in real-life applications.

The seminar concluded by highlighting the role of the Holy Quran in building a righteous individual and a cohesive society.
