As part of the College of Basic Education’s orientation toward reviving everything that enhances national spirit and values, and in a way that fosters love for the country among university students:

The College of Basic Education held a flag-raising ceremony in its main courtyard. The event was preceded by playing the national anthem and observing a minute of silence in reverence for the souls of the nation’s martyrs. The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Younis Al-Jarisi, the Programmatic Accreditation Committee, the national evaluators team, and a large gathering of its students.
