In a new addition to the historical and intellectual library, a book entitled “Arab Political Thought in the Age of Democracy: Muhammad Husayn Haykal as a Model” has recently been published by Harf Publishing and Distribution House and Library. The book was authored by Asst. Lecturer Bashar Farouq Abdul-Omr Al-Shukerji, a faculty member in the Department of History at our College.

This publication represents the author’s first printed scientific work. It addresses an important aspect of modern Arab political thought through an examination of Muhammad Husayn Haykal as a model, considering him one of the prominent figures of modern Arab thought, culture, and politics. The book also explores a number of political issues and ideas that shaped his era.

The book is the result of an academic collaboration with Prof. Dr. Nasser Abdul-Razzaq Al-Mulla Jassim, a member of the Iraqi Scientific Academy.
