Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics/Department of Operations Research and Intelligent Technologies held a scientific workshop entitled “Quality Concepts and Standards in Higher Education” on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. The workshop was presented by Dr. Uday Abdul Rahman Al-Obaidi. The workshop addressed the concept of quality and its systems in higher education, its importance in developing institutional performance, and reviewed the mechanisms of academic evaluation and accreditation and their role in improving programs, curricula, and the university environment.
