The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul held an Iftar meal for thalassemia and leukemia patients at Al-Hadbaa Specialized Hospital.

In a noble humanitarian gesture reflecting its commitment to social responsibility towards all segments of society, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul organized a group Iftar meal on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, for thalassemia and leukemia patients hospitalized at Al-Hadbaa Specialized Hospital for Hematological Diseases.

The event was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Jassim Fathi Ali, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Saadi Saeed, and a number of faculty members and staff. The initiative aimed to bring smiles to the faces of patients, especially children, alleviate their suffering, and strengthen humanitarian ties with healthcare institutions in the province, as part of the College’s program to promote social responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan.

During the visit, the delegation toured the hospital departments, closely observing the medical services provided and listening to the needs of patients and their families. They emphasized their commitment to providing ongoing moral support. For their part, the hospital administration and patients expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this generous gesture, which reflects the positive image of the College of Education for Pure Sciences and the community of the University of Mosul.

This event is part of a series of community and humanitarian activities organized by the College of Education for Pure Sciences during the holy month of Ramadan, in line with the values ​​of giving and tolerance promoted by the university.
