*Self-Assessment Workshop for Laboratories at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul*
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, Media Division, and Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, organized an informative workshop titled “Self-Assessment of Laboratories” on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the Postgraduate Studies Hall, College of Medicine.
The workshop consisted of two sessions:
*Session 1:*
– A lecture by Asst. Prof. Dr. Afraa Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Ameen titled “Laboratory Guidelines, College of Medicine, University of Mosul”
– A lecture by Lect. Dr. Nuha Hajim titled “Iraqi Standards for Quality of Laboratories, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research”
*Session 2:*
– A lecture by Dr. Inam Abdul Munim titled “Mechanism for Preparing the Basic Laboratory Register”
– A lecture by Lect. Dr. Asmaa Zaki Shitawi titled “Laboratory Safety and Waste Disposal Mechanism”
*Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to the workshop:*
