*Workshop on Developing Postgraduate Students’ Skills – College of Medicine*

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, Dean of the College of Medicine, a workshop titled: *”References and Their Importance in Scientific Research”* was held on Monday, 22/12/2025, in the Postgraduate Studies Hall, College of Medicine, as part of the program to develop scientific research skills for postgraduate students.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit. It was attended by postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD) from various colleges. The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Afraa Mohammed Al-Amin, from the Department of Medical Physiology. It covered the importance of references in scientific research and the tools that help in organizing them.

This workshop contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 5 (Gender Equality).
