“College of Medicine Strengthens Support for Female Students in Internal Departments”

The College of Medicine strengthens support for female students in internal departments as part of ongoing efforts to support students and provide a suitable study environment. The Student Support Committee and the Internal Departments Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, conducted a visit to the female students’ internal departments in Al-Hadba Complex on Monday, 5/1/2026. During the visit, committee members listened to the students’ needs. As a step to support the students, the committee distributed free meal cards provided by the College of Medicine cafeteria and the Student Center cafeteria, aiming to alleviate pressure during the mid-year exams. The committee emphasized the importance of providing psychological and social support to the students and stressed the need to provide all necessary needs to ensure their academic success and excellence.

This visit was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, in line with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly goals 3, 4, and 10.
