The College of Medicine Shines with Art in the Global Entrepreneurship Week… A Canvas of Creativity Embracing Education and Innovation

In a scene where colors blended with ideas, and the brush met ambition, the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul shone with a magnificent art exhibition held as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities. Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, and under the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim Zubair, Dean of the College of Medicine, the event took place on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

This exhibition, organized by the Student Activities Division, was more than just a showcase of artistic works; it was a platform where the talents of students and faculty members were displayed, and ideas pulsed with initiative and excellence. It coincided with the First Student Guidance Conference in the college, in cooperation with the Technology Incubator Unit, the Guidance Division, and the Sustainable Development Unit/Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency, affirming that creativity knows no boundaries between art and science, but unites them in a single message.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the exhibition lit the candles of Goal 4: Quality Education, by making art a means of learning and expression; contributed to Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by celebrating creative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit; and embodied Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through the collaboration of various units and divisions.

The exhibition received acclaim from attendees, not only for the beauty of its paintings, but for the messages of hope and ambition it carried, and for representing a promising nucleus for ideas that will grow, projects that will flourish, and minds that will lead the future.

Thus, the College of Medicine affirms that education is not just pages in a book, but a renewing vision, a shining creativity, and a mission that shapes tomorrow.
