A Field Visit by Family and Community Medicine Students to the Left Water Project (Al-Quba)

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, organized a field and scientific visit to the Left Water Project (Al-Quba) on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with the participation of fourth-year students.

The visit was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit.

The aim of the visit was to enhance the practical aspect of students and to familiarize them with the working mechanisms and procedures followed in managing water projects, contributing to linking theoretical aspects with practical application.

This visit is in line with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals:

– Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being

– Goal 4: Quality Education

– Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation

The visit was held under the auspices of the Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and supervised by a group of faculty members, who emphasized the importance of such activities in promoting community health concepts and sustainable development among students.
