College of Medicine Team Wins First Place in University Chess Tournament

The College of Medicine / University of Mosul chess team achieved first place in the university tournament on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The tournament, organized by the Student Activities Division at the University of Mosul, saw participation from 23 colleges.

This achievement reflects the continuous support from the College of Medicine administration and the efforts of the Student Activities Division and the Sports Activities Unit. The team members, Ahmad Azhar Fadhel, Yaser Mohammad Ameen, and Rajeh Mohammad Rajeh, showcased outstanding performance.
