Clinical Psychology Training Courses
Under the patronage of Professor Dr.Kossay Kamaladdin Alahmady , President of the University of Mosul, and supervision of by Professor Basil SAEED, Dean of the College of Medicine, the practical and final unit of the clinical psychology training courses began today, Monday, November 4, 2024, at the College of Medicine. Participants are being trained to support trauma victims using simulation and problem-solving techniques. This program consists of seven training units and has been ongoing over a full academic year, with 32 trainees from the Universities of Mosul and Nineveh, as well as from Nineveh Health and Education Directorates.
The program is a collaboration between the University of Mosul, the University of Nineveh, the University of Lorraine in France, and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF). The training will continue for five days, with seven hours of training each day, during which the latest scientific protocols on handling trauma victims will be presented.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Basil SAEED, and Assistant Professor Dr. Humam Ghanem Ibrahim, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, attended the training, along with the supervisors overseeing the training process.
