College of Medicine

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. Al-Ahmadi and follow- up the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed, various building belong to the College of Medicine had been opened in the morning of Sunday, 13 / 11/ 2022. Initially, three lecture-rooms, built recently, has been opened in the College of Nursing. Two of which accommodate up to 140 students and the other up to 60 students, followed by opening the hall of the students’ theatre after reconstructing it according to the modern specifications with accommodation up to 350 students.The activity has been concluded by opening the closed hall of sports which has been also reconstructed to perform the sports activities of the students of the College of Medicine , which has hosted a match on the honor of opening including together the team of the College of Medicine and the team of the reconstruction and projects.The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-President of University of Mosul Prof Dr Wahid M. Al-Ibrahimi . Both the Vices- Dean of the college for scientific and administrative affairs were also attended this important activity in addition to other academic and non -academic staff of the college and university . Finally, the dean of the college expressed his appraise for the concern of the Presidency of University of Mosul and its follow –up to make sure of success of the educational process and the excellence of its outstanding students
