A Workshop for Postgraduate Students
Within the “Developing Scientific Research Skills for Postgraduate Students” Program*

The Department of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is implementing the “Developing Scientific Research Skills for Postgraduate Students” program. As part of this program, Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Hazem Al-Nuaimi, a lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, conducted his second workshop for the academic year 2025-2026.

The workshop, titled “Plagiarism in Scientific Research: Definition, Awareness, and Prevention Methods,” was held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the Hall of Postgraduate Studies. It targeted postgraduate students from various colleges and disciplines across the university and saw active participation from the students.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, and it contributes to achieving several Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Education and Training for Sustainable Development.
