Activating safety and emergency standards

In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and as part of its commitment to fostering a safe and healthy learning environment, the College of Medicine has taken proactive measures by providing a range of emergency supplies and first aid kits, in addition to installing early warning systems throughout its facilities.

This initiative aims to enhance the College’s readiness in responding to emergency situations and aligns with occupational safety and prevention standards. It represents a significant step towards achieving SDG 3: “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages,” particularly in strengthening emergency preparedness and rapid response systems. It also contributes to the realization of SDG 11: “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.”

The College reaffirms its ongoing commitment to implementing best practices in safety and health, in line with its institutional vision and comprehensive quality standards
