Faculty Members from the College of Medicine Visit Al-Kindi Factory
The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, organized a scientific visit to Al-Kindi Factory, which belongs to the General Company for Communication and Power Equipment. The visit was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim Zubair, and the Vice Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs

Visit Details:
– The visit was led by Dr. Umayma Abdul-Razzaq Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, and a number of faculty members from the department.
– The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Director of Al-Kindi Factory and department heads.
– The visit included an awareness lecture on the principles of industrial safety and security, as well as a practical demonstration of the alarm and early fire suppression system that was recently designed and implemented at the company.
– The delegation also took a field tour inside the thermal camera laboratory, which is the first of its kind in Iraq.

In cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / University of Mosul Presidency – Sustainable Development Unit

Objectives:

– Strengthen cooperation between the University of Mosul and various state institutions.
– Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
– Goal 4: Quality Education
– Goal 17: Industry and Partnerships
