Blood Donation Campaign at the College of Medicine: A Drop of Hope Without End
Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, along with the presence of the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and The Vice Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs , the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul organized a blood donation campaign on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The campaign was held in collaboration with the Main Blood Bank at the Nineveh Health Department, in the Parasitology Laboratory, 3rd Floor, Scientific Departments Building.

Participation:
The campaign saw participation from a number of students, faculty members, and staff, highlighting the commitment of the College of Medicine to community service and volunteer work.

In cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / University of Mosul Presidency – Sustainable Development Unit

Objectives:
– Encourage blood donation and raise awareness about its importance.
– Strengthen partnerships between the university and healthcare institutions.
– The event contributed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
– Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
– Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
