Child Rights: Protection and Care for a Sustainable Future

Child Rights: Protection and Care for a Sustainable Future
In alignment with its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the College of Medicine emphasizes the importance of protecting and caring for children as a fundamental pillar for building a healthy society and a prosperous future. This initiative is particularly aligned with Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth، and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions which call for just, inclusive, and safe societies.
Every child has the right to:
- Protection from violence, exploitation, and neglect
- Access to healthcare, as well as psychological and social support
- Live in a safe and nurturing environment
These rights are essential foundations for achieving decent work and fostering sustainable economic growth.
