The discussion committee consisted of:

The study aimed to identify the risk factors associated with endometrial cancer among women in Nineveh Province, Iraq. The study concluded that the most important risk factors for endometrial cancer in Nineveh Province include a family history of colon, uterine, or breast cancer, advanced age at first birth, nulliparity, polycystic ovary syndrome, and ovarian cancer. The study also found that obese women and those who have previously worked may be more susceptible to the disease, which requires special awareness and early preventive measures.
The study came out with the following recommendations:
– Implementing health education programs to increase women’s awareness of the risk factors for endometrial cancer.
– Encouraging routine screening to detect changes in the uterine lining, especially in the presence of a family history of the disease or reproductive disorders.
– Conducting further comprehensive studies in Nineveh Province to gain better knowledge about the disease.
– Emphasizing the importance of weight loss, physical activity, and adopting a healthy diet to reduce modifiable risk factors, including obesity.
– Planning health care services and working to improve access to health care services to ensure early detection and timely therapeutic intervention, especially for high-risk groups.
