The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednathir Saeed, with his presence, inaugurated the discussion of the thesis of the student of the Iraqi Board of Pediatrics, Zaid Issam Al-Hamo, which took place today, Tuesday 28/2/2023, in the Discussion Hall of the Deanship of the College of Medicine.The thesis supervised by Prof Dr Mazen Mahmoud Fawzi Al-Sarraf dealt with the subject of “neonatal sepsis and its risk factors in newborns”The discussion committee consisted of Prof Dr Riyad Abdel Latif, Assistant Prof Dr Aws Hazem Al-Numan, and Prof Dr Rikan Suleiman Jumaa. The Scientific Vice-Dean, Assistant Prof Dr Humam Gh. Zubair, and a number of college members attended the discussion.The discussion was conducted in a discerning scientific atmosphere by asking important questions that affected the scientific arena, and after answering the questions by the student, his thesis was accepted.
